  About KENPAT Botswana

Founded in 1992 when the 1st contract, Boipuso Hall, was awarded to Crawlies (Pty) Ltd, a joint venture between KENPAT and Duzzen Ceilings. The contract entailed the conversion of a metal building into an international convention centre on short notice, with a very short contract period. This challenging contract was completed within 4 months. It formed the basis for future work undertaken by Crawlies.

In 2004, Crawlies changed its name to KENPAT (Botswana) in recognition of its closer ties with the other Kenpat group companies.

KENPAT Botswana’s successful completion of this contract has led to the subsequent award of many of the major projects in Botswana. Crawlies is one of only a few local Botswana companies capable of completing multi million Pula ceiling and partition contracts.

KENPAT Botswana has completed such diverse contracts as corporate head offices, government offices, shopping centres, radio stations, hotel refurbishments, motor dealerships, schools and retail shops. The Botswana Radio & Television Centre was completed for an international joint venture between Costain from Great Britain and ML Kharafi from Kuwait. It consists of a modern state-of-the-art radio and television broadcasting facility, including 30+ specialised sound/production studios, television studios, an auditorium, workshops and corporate head office. KENPAT was responsible for the complete refurbishment of the De Beers Diamond Company’s Botswana head office on a turnkey basis, including all trades.
